Black Glitter Diaries 2026
UPDATE: now available!
Black Glitter Diaries holds a special place in my heart. It's the only album on which my good friend (and exceptional musician) Bernard Falaise collaborated; it's my longest release (60+ minutes); and it's probably my most "elaborate"—musically and conceptually. In 2007 I was experimenting quite a bit sonically, producing soundtracks for TV shows and various projects that were pushing me out of my comfort zone. The result was, I think, an expanded palette.
In 2023 I released a first remastered version as an exclusive bonus to 1EYE SOCIETY members. But that was a quick job. This one follows the new blueprint: full remixing, added tracks, revisited drums, vocals, etc. I also open with a different song (Successions), which alters the general flow a bit. I think the overall sound is fatter, spacier, and grittier than the original. Not as tidy, which is in fact more in line with what I meant to do at the time.
The album drops May 5th: yes, Cinco De Mayo but also...my birthday! That’s an opportunity that was too good to pass up :)
Black Glitter Diaries (2026 Remaster) will be available to download from the MUSIC section, but you can also pre-add it to your Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, or Amazon library from this Landr page.
Another one down.
