La Sonde: TAR

This one's about music.

In the midst of the pandemic I recorded instrumental tracks that later became System of Confined Spaces, an album released under the Horse Machines label. As a drone album it was somewhat of an outlier, but I loved making it (despite those rather…erm…dire circumstances). I found the process weirdly visual, like creating a movie without images that still felt... cinematic? (1)

Anyway, I wanted to build on the experience within a dedicated framework: I call it La Sonde.

La Sonde is a purely experimental/ambient project, and TAR—the first release—is available now on most music platforms.
