Home for Easter

You can never trust April.

Last week, Quebec and Ontario were hit by an ice storm, causing major power outages for days. Montreal was amongst the hardest hit...and yet where we live, just 40 minutes to the south, nothing happened. No power outages, and barely enough freezing rain to make the trees glisten.

It was a cold and dark Easter weekend for some.

Would you believe we had an egg hunt? Well, sort of: a chocolate box hunt (one for each of us). It started off as a joke, ended up as a nostalgic trip down memory lane, and lasted all of 10-12 minutes. But it was fun...if not very challenging (!)

We stayed home due to various medical incidents in the family—even COVID reared it's ugly head in our household again (thankfully little more than an inconvenience nowadays). But the sun's finally out, temps are slowly creeping up, and my toe is looking—and feeling—better. Almost like a toe again.

I also have a new camera...but this ain't it.
Soon :)
