Continuing adventures in lo-fi
The word hipsta made a brief appearance in the comments on last week’s post, and it stuck with me. That, and an article I read over the weekend about Eric Mencher, an award-winning photojournalist who now shoots exclusively with his iPhone (personal work, from what I understand).
My iPhone 8 Plus had a telephoto lens, which I liked. My current iPhone however (iPhone 11), only has wide and ultra-wide—I’m not crazy about either focal lengths and rarely feel the urge to use the camera.
But you read an account like this one and you gaze at the images and you look at your phone again and that tiny voice inside whispers hmm…what the hell.
