A Vanishing
Its curves dance, against white, against light. A breeze rippling through fabric. I see nothing more. I want nothing more. On screens, voices rise in denunciation. A coward hides and whimpers, calls on vicious dogs to be unleashed; the vainglorious bloodlust of impotents and weaklings. He tramples sacred ground. He desecrates the innocent.
We are experiencing a vanishing.
Lives extinguished.
Decency destroyed.
Truth now irrelevant.
Its curves dance and I see nothing more.
A breeze
the air
& murmurs.
