Quarantine Day 04 | Three Images from our Driveway
The book came in and that’s the plan for today: sitting on the couch and reading. I’ve had this weird feeling since Monday that I’m not allowed to do nothing. That I should be finding work to do, getting projects off the ground. It’s bizarre this sudden slowdown. We’ve been accelerating, constantly striving to move faster and faster and now...we’re all stopped, all at once. On day one I wrote that time was an opportunity; it’s also, apparently, alien to our current way of life. We must relearn to embrace emptiness.
