Dinner...?

“I’m making dinner tonight...”.
“No! I’m making dinner!”.
If you have kids you’re probably familiar with these arguments. You’re also probably thinking “wait...they WANT to do something?!”.
Call it the Blue Moon or Flying Pigs day but there we were, around 5:30 PM on a Friday night, watching our two teens semi-fighting about who would be cooking. And just to be clear: yes, it was unusual.
Of course they did the tv version. You know that one, right? Where you get to mix and stir and bake and magical elves clean up after you? Yeah, that version. Still, it’s not every day we get to mostly drink wine and watch. Plus...actual collaboration? Man, the times do change.
