Eyes and Fall and a Very Plateau Afternoon

I can see again. Awfully nice I must admit. I broke my reading glasses over the Thanksgiving weekend and ordered the wrong prescription—plus 4 instead of 3. Crazy what a difference that single digit makes. I could still read on my Kobo (up close and very personal), but screens, especially working on them, was a complete no go. Typing four inches away from a blinding light, as it turns out, isn't at all comfortable.

Anaïs is here for the week so we visited Jacob in the city. I'm on a fake-instant EXP 77 binge these days, which seems to fit the time of year.
A few shots from our afternoon stroll…
