Move I
Everything’s packed early, so we leave for Maricourt. That’ll give us a thirty minute drive to Sherbrooke the next morning, instead of the 90+ minutes we'd planned.

By mid-afternoon on moving day we've unloaded, shopped for missing items, installed curtains in the windows, re-assembled the desk and computer. We've even had time for lunch, just the three of us—where this all began.
Then we leave our son to his new home.
