Informal 1:1 ONLINE Meetups

It sounds like a podcast. In fact, there probably is a podcast by that name, I didn't bother checking. But nope: Coffee & Photography is a new set of 1:1 online sessions, available starting today.

I've been doing online coaching in various forms for a long time now, but I never advertised it. I'd get an email from someone, we'd book some sessions, and go from there. Some of these relationships have been ongoing for years, but in my mind they were always incidental: something I greatly enjoyed doing, but more like sporadic side-projects.

I don't intend to bore you with the details of my life, but let's just say I'm slowly beginning to switch gears. I want to connect, teach, and help others, more than to constantly reach for the spotlight myself.

So the idea is to get together and tackle the subject of your choice. No pressure, no judgment, just two people having a conversation and working out an idea. Now, because I know from experience how quickly sand flows through the hourglass in this sort of setting, I'm offering two fixed options: 45 and 75 minutes, both with enough lead time to prepare. The point is to maximize our time together as much as possible.

Btw: it's called Coffee & Photography, but creative work involves a lot more than just the tools of our craft. If you want to look at organization, or backup strategies, even specific software I've written about in a post, it's all possible. I can even take you on a behind-the-scenes tour if you like. You set the agenda.

And really, isn’t this a perfect activity for cold, blustery, winter days?
