I went on a pretty wild, gleeful excursion in the latest blog post, with Lightroom's newly released local curves. Needless to say the feature can be used with a lot more subtlety, and a lot less effect. But it was a fun, Kali-esque test, and it allowed me to push the limits of what the tool can do.

I don't know that I can shower praise on Adobe for finally adding something Capture One has had for so long, but I will say this: I've received more meaningful updates to LR in months, than I did from C1 in years. Maybe I'm just lucky and came in at a particularly prolific moment, but so far so good. I'm certainly not regretting the re-assessment.
