A Fuji Walk in the Park

As I was driving down to Montreal, early Saturday morning, I honestly didn't know what to expect. This, after all, would be my first ever group photo walk. I know... This kind of stuff happens all the time, everywhere, but what can I say... I'm usually more of a loner I guess. But I was very much looking forward to finally meeting Billy Luong in person (after over a year of phone conversations) and of course the opportunity to exchange with fellow Fuji shooters was nothing short of a bonus.

I got there at 8:15 AM and already people were setting up, chatting, getting ready for the day. I gotta say: this was pretty great. Over 60 photographers showed up for the event on this gorgeous morning and we had a blast.

I didn't shoot all that much and I wish I could've chatted with everyone there but those 3 hours went by in a flash. Huge thanks to Billy, Jerry, Pat and everyone else at Fuji for organizing what turned out to be a great party with prizes, swag galore. And of course, a shout out to the new photographers I had an opportunity to meet — Jerome, David, Bernard, Jack, Wendy to name a few — as well as Adéral, Roger and Richard who turned up for the gig.

Alright, enough of this... I'm beginning to sound like Sally Fields at the Oscars.
Needless to say: I'll be looking forward to the next one.

P.S #11 is Mr Fuji Guys himself setting up for the group shot. Inside joke alert: is it dark enough Billy? Just checkin' ;)
