So I'm off...

I'm all packed and ready to go. Dinner at my sister's with the family tonight and then a plane in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow.

I went back and forth on what gear to bring and the guys at Fujifilm Canada were very gracious in offering both an X100S and a last minute brand new X-M1 which got here in the nick of time about an hour ago, along with the new consumer 16-55 zoom and the 27mm pancake lens. I'm bringing my 35mm f/1.4 as well just for kicks. So I'll have an assessment of that gear when I get back, on top of what I hope to shoot while I'm there.

Speaking of gear: packing porn below.  The X-M1 has the 35mm mounted.
See you soon :)

P.S I switched places on the last image: that's the X-Pro1 shot by the X-M1 and 35mm lens. IQ is clearly X-Trans. No compromises there. But I'm still not a screen shooter.
