Before we begin anew...

First off: Happy New Year everyone. Hope you had a chance to unwind as I did during the holidays. I got off the grid a bit, rebooted the system and now I’m raring to go.

My Twitter friend and Boulder photographer @rockymtnjoe kindly sent me a video montage of his street and location work just after Christmas, a retrospective of what he had shot in 2011. I thought it was a brilliant idea and decided to do the same thing, forcing myself to go through a year’s worth of images and fit a small subset into the confines of a song. Hey… I had to do something constructive besides finding new ways of preparing leftover turkey (seriously, that’s one thrifty bird!).

So before getting back into the thick of things, here’s a 2011 recap to make way for 2012. And my resolution this year? More and Better.
