August | the end in sight.

August already. School days casting their long shadow over what few weekends remain.  Summers used to be so unending, three short months lasting for years and years. Come September I'd be a new boy — taller, wiser. Such a gentle illusion.

I wonder if my kids feel it too. I wonder if Time is as kind and limitless to them as it was to us.
